Thirteen braised dishes known as khoreshes include Rhubarb Khoresh, which can be made with either chicken or red meat. Most Persian rice dishes are cooked so that a savory golden crust, known as tah dig, forms on the bottom. Desserts include Rose Water Rice Pudding and a labor-intensive Baklava. Cooks accustomed to simple recipes will find other complicated offerings, such as Jeweled Rice, but most are not overly intimidating. As I read through the conversations, I am trying to keep to the French side only as a way to help improve my knowledge of this language. I am also reading the conversations out loud to help with language retention. I hope an audio version, such as through Audible, of this book will be made available. Hautement recommandé !

This resource has helped me to practice speaking in a way that flows naturally. It has allowed me to quickly elevate my ability to speak with my languages partners and become more comfortable in conversations. I will be super excited when an audio version is developed which will speed up my learning even faster. Great tool for practicing French.

I immediately purchased this product from Lingo Mastery because I have enjoyed all of their previous books, both French and Spanish.I will say I have not finished this book as I'm trying to work through the Short Stories for Beginners and the 2000 Common Phrases, but my initial review looks very promising.I'm trying to re-learn my French from long ago, and I've found that Lingo Mastery does a good job of keeping learning on topic. I've also gotten a few Audible books, which have enhanced the learning.

This is an excellent resource for learning useful French that will be very helpful in daily interactions. It's a great supplement to more formal study. I'm enjoying reading the dialogues aloud and practicing French pronunciation.

I am an avid language learner and audiobook listener. I have used audiobooks to improve many of the different languages I study. I know they work, and I wanted to get my ears on this since I've recently visited France and want to improve my language skills.This audio moves at a fast pace. There are explanations and suggestions for use at the beginning and end. Each chapter has the dialogue spoken by native French speakers and then spoken in (American) English translation.The positives: The native accents are accurate and clear. The topics and associated vocabulary are on a very nice variety of topics that aren't often covered in other language audios. They are timely and sometimes very funny. If you learned these conversations to mastery level, you would be well prepared with French.The negatives: The English translations aren't always in natural spoken language. You can guess what they actually mean from context, but a little more care could have been done with that. The performances can sound very stilted. The female performer sometimes mispronounces her English (usually a problem with which syllables are stressed).I don't think any of the negatives are deal breakers, but they are there. I recommend this to any French learner without reservation, and I'm happy to have gotten a review copy. I would offer a few further pieces of advice to interested listeners.You have to do the work. This means studying the accompanying PDF and practicing speaking out loud. New learners would benefit by changing the playback speeds to slow down to really hear everything.Disclaimer: I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
